Founder & Director at Live Life Happy Therapy

Nicola Griffiths Reg MBACP

Experienced Individual & Couples Relationship Psychotherapist

Many of my clients come to me at the point where they know something has to change. You might feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in painful relationship patterns, or unsure how to move forward. Whether you’re struggling in your relationship or consumed by self-doubt or anxiety, I offer a calm, compassionate space to pause, reflect, and begin to rebuild.

I specialise in working with individuals and couples carrying the weight of past relational wounds, such as betrayal, emotional neglect, or the lingering feeling of never being “enough.” Some of my clients identify as emotionally sensitive and easily affected by others; others feel numb or disconnected from their emotions. Many feel torn between the longing for deep connection and the fear of being hurt again.

My approach is relational and trauma-informed, drawing on Attachment-Focused EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Schema Therapy. This integrative way of working helps clients process emotional pain, shift unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with themselves and others in more meaningful ways.

Sessions: In-person therapy in Cubley, Derbyshire (10 minutes from Uttoxeter and Ashbourne, 20 minutes from Stoke, Burton, and Derby, just off the A50), or online across the UK and Europe via Zoom.

Prices
Individuals - £90 per 50 - min session
Couples - £100 Per 50 min sessions

Relationship changes can bring up a mix of emotions, excitement, hope, uncertainty, or pain. Whether you’re coping with a breakup, struggling with trust, adjusting to family changes, or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, you don’t have to go through it alone. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can reflect, heal, and begin to move forward with more clarity.

I work with people through many different transition, endings and new beginnings, becoming a parent, blending families, or simply finding yourself again after years of putting others first.

My approach is integrative, combining therapy with practical coaching tools. Miche Corbin
Experienced Life Coach & Counsellor

Perhaps you’re feeling stuck in repeating patterns, in your relationships, your self-worth, or the way you respond to life’s challenges. You might be working through the end of a relationship, navigating a difficult dynamic, or trying to make sense of past experiences that still shape how you feel today.

I work with both individuals and couples. For individuals, this often includes relationship struggles alongside anxiety, low self-worth, identity challenges, or the long-term effects of childhood experiences such as emotional neglect, attachment injuries, or trauma.

For couples, I support with communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, rebuilding after betrayal, navigating intimacy and sexual concerns, or exploring changes such as open relationships and conscious uncoupling.

My approach blends therapy with practical coaching tools, helping you not only understand the roots of what’s happening but also take steps towards meaningful change. I draw on CBT, psychodynamic therapy, Imago Couples Therapy, Transactional Analysis, mindfulness, and attachment-focused approaches. At times, creative expression, through imagery, writing, or art, can also support the process when words don’t feel enough. Whether we’re working together one-to-one or as a couple, the focus is on creating a safe, collaborative space to explore patterns, repair trust, and strengthen connection, with yourself and with others.

Sessions: Online counselling and coaching for individuals and couples across the UK and Europe, and in-person in Birmingham.

Prices
Individuals - £65 per 50 - min session
Couples - £85 Per 50 min sessions

Experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

You might feel overwhelmed by distance in your closest relationships, caught in repeating patterns, or weighed down by anxiety, self-doubt, or painful past experiences. Therapy offers a safe, confidential space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin the process of lasting change.

I work with both individuals and couples. For individuals, this often means exploring relationship struggles alongside anxiety, depression, low self-worth, or the long-term effects of childhood experiences such as neglect, attachment injuries, or trauma. I also support clients with eating disorders and body image concerns, where food and self-image are deeply connected to self-worth and relationships.

For couples, I help with communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, attachment challenges, rebuilding trust after infidelity, and navigating co-parenting or blended family dynamics.

My approach is psychodynamic and integrative. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences and relational patterns shape how you feel and connect today. Therapy can help you build greater self-understanding, strengthen emotional resilience, and create healthier, more authentic relationships, with yourself and others.

Sessions: Online therapy for adults, couples, children, and young people across the UK.

Rebecca Tan

BACP Trainee Counsellor

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether it’s anxiety, low self-worth, family difficulties, or painful experiences from the past that are hard to move on from.

At times like these, having someone who will really listen and offer support without judgement can make a difference.

I’m Rebecca, a trainee counsellor in the final year of my training. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can explore what you’re going through at your own pace, helping you to feel heard, understood, and less alone.

My background is in education and youth support, where I’ve worked with people facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, bullying, and life transitions. These experiences have shaped my belief in the importance of empathy, respect, and creating a safe environment for growth. Outside of counselling, I enjoy learning new languages, exploring different cultures, and spending time outdoors with my family and our miniature schnauzer, Lola.
